The Town of Greenville, located in Maine's Beautiful Moosehead Lake Region, is actively seeking new businesses and industry. Historically, wood products and tourism have been the business staples in the region. Today, Greenville has several high-tech small businesses and a strong growing tourism retail and service economy.

Because of Greenville's distance from other communities of any substantial size and because of its tradition as a hub, the town offers a wide range of services.

You Can Mix Business With Pleasure . . .
Piscataquis County, noted for its rural character, abundant natural resources and plentiful open space offers a wonderful opportunity to operate a successful business and enjoy a quality of life only this region can provide. The Greenville Industrial Park will allow you to have the best of both worlds, prime industrial development locations and an opportunity to live in one of the most beautiful and friendly areas of Maine.

Greenville itself has much to offer new businesses. The Town has a municipal airport with two paved runways and a major railroad runs through town, making it easily accessible. Greenville hosts an active Economic Development Committee committed to improving the local business environment, a Chamber of Commerce and a Downtown Merchants Association. The Town is willing to be creative in working with individual business needs.
