Cross Country Skiing Outings Every other Saturday starting January 2nd 2010 Meet at the NREC office at 9am Destination determined by weather and conditions
NREC’s
nature trails are beautiful and informative in the spring, summer and fall,
but did you know that they can be enjoyed in the winter as well? Thanks to
volunteer and supporter Erik Cochrane, we have beautiful trails in the
winter to cross country ski. As the snow continues to pile up be sure to
check out the trails. There is room o snowshoe or if the surface provides,
walking. They are used at your own risk, but are perfect for the quick loop
or to tour at your leisure. The terrain is gentle enough even for the
beginner. Hope to see you out there! |
