GREENVILLE— It’s official, the ice at Moosehead Lake was out May 1 between 9:30 a.m. and noon, according to Roger Currier of Currier’s Flying service. The Ice-out 2004 contest winner is Tracy Lord of Greenville, who’s guess was May 1 at 10:31 a.m. Lord will receive a Moosehead Lake vacation getaway package for two which includes a three-day, two-night stay at Streamside III vacation rental, $25 gift certificate to Kelly’s Landing Restaurant, $25 gift certificate to Breton’s Store, $25 off a scenic flight from Currier’s Flying Service, and a one year subscription to the Moosehead Messenger. There was one other guess for May 1 at 7:31 a.m. This year’s contest was sponsored by the Moosehead Messenger and the Moosehead Lake Chamber of Commerce. |
