GREENVILLE - Someone cut a hole in the plastic covering of a greenhouse on Pritham Avenue Thursday evening and made off with a cash register that contained some loose change, police said. On the same night, a shovel and a multipurpose tool were taken from service vehicles parked outside a second business. Police also are investigating the theft of a bicycle that was at a home about a block away from where the other two thefts occurred.
