The Greenville Industrial Park is a town owned 12 lot parcel zoned for industrial use. Located only a short distance from the downtown the park features paved access roads to all lots and is adjacent to Greenville Steam Co. Greenville Steam, a major producer of electricity, could be a future power source for large Industrial Park developments.

    RECREATION AND TOURIST ATTRACTIONS
    Moosehead Lake: 40 miles long and over 76,000 acres. The largest lake in Maine.

    Little Moose Reserve: 15,000 acres that includes Big and Little Moose Mountains and several remote ponds. Winter visitors enjoy snowmobiling and cross country skiing. Access is by gravel road off Route 15 north of Greenville. Telephone: (207) 778-8231

    Public Lands on Moosehead Lake: Includes Sugar and Farm Islands and most of the shore in Day's Academy and Kineo Townships. Boats may be launched at several locations on the lake including Lily Bay State Park and Rockwood. Telephone: (207) 778-8231

    Nahmakanta Land Reserve: Encompasses nearly 43,000 acres and is the largest unit in the public reserved lands system. The Appalachian Trail crosses the unit following the shore of Nahmakanta Lake. Access is from Kokadjo over gravel roads. Telephone: (207) 827-5936

    Baxter State Park: "Mile-High" Mount Katahdin towers over this beautiful and vast wilderness preserve. Located about an hour plus north of Greenville.
